School Games Virtual Competitions NOW LIVE
Following our previous email regarding School Games competition we can now confirm that this terms offer is live on the Norfolk School Games website:
Here you will see all the resources to run the competition including Resource card with layout instructions and results sheet, Videos with a demonstration of each challenge for each competition and a results tab to input class average scores online.
The process for each competition would be:
- Set up competition with a class as per resource card/video
- Run the competition (maybe over a number of PE lessons)
- Record individual students results on sheets provided (resource card)
- Work out class average score
- Upload class average score to the Norfolk School Games website
The data that you collate for each competition can then be used for your own school House system and we will also use the data that you upload to run Cluster and SSP virtual competitions. We will regularly update leader boards via the Latest News section of our SSP website.
All of your results sheets will form evidence of Intra/inter and County participation which can go towards any PE accreditation later in the year.
For each competition there are set Year groups on the website however we would encourage all year groups to participate in all competitions and we will acknowledge results locally. Please note that mixed year group classes should submit results as separate year groups.
On completion of each competition there are certificates that can be downloaded and distributed to students.
We will also email schools SSP certificates for each class that taken part in each competition.
The deadline for all entries is FRIDAY 11th DEC – however you can start inputting results now.
