A record number of school teams have competed in the Downham Cluster Football Tri Series Football league this season.

After the first two tournaments hosted at Hillcrest teams were divided into a World Cup Pool and a Champions league Pool to round of the overall competition.

Having topped the table all season it was fitting that World Cup winners were Nelson Academy with Hillcrest Harriers in second place and Downham Prep third, Watlington fourth and Denver fifth.

In the Champions League Shouldham Strikers were winners with Hillcrest Hotshots second, KWEST third and Southery/Shouldham Saints equal fourth.

Other school teams who have competed over the season but were unable to attend the final tournament were Upwell Academy and Riverside Academy.

A big thank you goes to Hillcrest for hosting and to the Sports Leaders from Downham Market Academy for refereeing the matches.
