Well done to the twelve schools who competed in this year’s SSP Keysteps Gymnastics Finals hosted by Eagles Gym.

The competition sees students from Year 1/2 complete a Floor routine to music and a Vaulting activity, scores are then added together to produce a winning team.

Schools competing this time were Dersingham, Clenchwarton, Gayton, Greyfriars, Highgate, Kings Oak, Magdalen, Nelson, Shouldham, West Lynn, South Wootton Infant and Terrington St Clements.

In between the competitive elements all students were given taster sessions on the specialist equipment within the Eagles Gym Club, this included Parallel Bars, Beam and Asymetric Bars which all proved to be very popular.

Once all scores were in the top three teams were presented with medals by Eagles Young Leaders who had supported students throughout the morning on the apparatus.

Bronze medalists were Dersingham. Silver medalists West Lynn and Gold medalists South Wootton Infant.

West Lynn and South Wootton will now represent West Norfolk at the Norfolk School Games Gymnastics Finals on 12th Feb at UEA Sportspark – we wish both teams the very best of luck.
